History
- 1974 - 1975 - Fraser Valley College (FVC) was founded.
- 2008 - UCFV becomes the University of the Fraser Valley and installs first Chancellor.
Education
- We offer more than 100 programs, including two master’s degrees, 19 bachelor’s degrees, majors, minors, and extended minors in more than 30 subject areas, and more than a dozen trades and technology programs.
Research
- The office of Research, Engagement, and Graduate Studies fosters innovation at UFV by supporting UFV faculty and student research and establishing partnerships and alliances with other post-secondary institutions and private industry in Canada and abroad.
- Students benefit from the integration of research and education, industry partnerships, and hands-on graduate-level experience and training.
- Faculty are encouraged to undertake multidisciplinary, collaborative research within UFV, and to develop partnerships with post-secondary institutions, advancing and sharing knowledge.

Abundance of opportunities
Attending the University of Frazier Valley has been an incredible journey filled with countless opportunities. I am forever grateful for the experiences and the support I have received during my time here. In conclusion, my experience at the University of Frazier Valley has been nothing short of amazing. The caring professors, abundance of opportunities, and personal growth I have experienced here have shaped me into a better individual. It's a small university in Roosendaal, the communication with the teachers is easy going. They really help you with improving and personal growth, and career opportunities. Not slot of diversity on the university
Decent experience
UFV has a diverse population of international students.The student union society is inclusive for the students. Decent campus life for students with different cultural events. A bit of less resources for international students in terms of financial aid.

The Student Support Centre exists to provide all UFV students a central place to go for assistance. We help guide students to:

- To help University of the Fraser Valley students pay for the health services they need, SUS has partnered with Studentcare in order to provide students with extended health and dental coverage.
Campus life
UFV has campuses and locations in Abbotsford, Chilliwack, Mission, and Hope, and a growing presence in Chandigarh, India.
- The Abbotsford campus is UFV's main campus, located in the third most diverse city in Canada.
- On 85 acres at the Canada Education Park in Chilliwack, UFV has a LEED Gold-certified facility.
- UFV's Mission campus at Heritage Park Centre lies on a hillside nestled among the southern coastal mountains and overlooks the Fraser River valley.
- The UFV Hope Centre serves the local community by offering upgrading and continuing education courses, and providing student services, such as registration, fee payment, and computer support.
