Exchange Program Review – BESIGN, France
During my exchange at BESIGN, a sustainable design school in Cagnes-sur-Mer (Nice, France), I had the opportunity to grow both personally and professionally. As a L2 student, I took part in several drawing and painting courses that significantly improved my artistic skills—something that continues to support my current work as a fashion graphic designer. I also gained experience with new digital tools such as Shapr3D and rendering software. One of the highlights of my time at BESIGN was participating in a collaborative experience design project in partnership with Accenture, working alongside students from both BA and Master's programs. This multidisciplinary environment allowed me to expand my perspective and take on new challenges, including completing an industrial design project. What stood out most was how the school integrated me fully into student life. I was treated as a regular student, with access to all classes and full academic support. They also assisted me with administrative processes, for my internship at Maison Kitsuné in Paris. Without their help, I could not have done this internship. I highly recommend BESIGN to any design student looking for an inspiring, inclusive, and hands-on international experience.
a unique experience
The school has so many international student from all over the world which is important for a design school. Different cultural background and perspectives on design and design thinking always enhance the works. I have improved my vision thanks to the variety of ideas, perspectives and the courses we took to become a pioneer designers in the future.
My year of win
My experience was great I was inspired I learned a lot my lectures was great but we don’t have all the equipment to learn
