History
The establishment of VJU is expected to create a new momentum of socio-economic development and contribute to add more values to Japanese investments in Vietnam. VJU is also expected to become a center of cultural and academic exchanges between Vietnam and Japan.

I had a truly enriching experience studying at the VNU University of Economics and Business. The lecturers here are not only knowledgeable but also deeply passionate about their subjects. They combine academic expertise with practical insights, which helped me gain both theoretical foundations and real-world perspectives. Many professors were always willing to provide guidance, both during and after class, and they genuinely cared about our academic progress and career paths. Housing services
The VNU My Dinh Dormitory is conveniently located for students, being 500m from VJU My Dinh campus, 1km from My Dinh national stadium and 2km from VNU. Being two new buildings of 21 floors, 388 living rooms, the dorm has a serving capacity of more than 2,000 students with 24/24 security system for student safety. Three modern lifts for each building. All rooms are fully equipped with air conditioning and three double beds for six students each.
Library services
Being a newly established university belongs to VNU, VJU has lots of efforts to support student studying activities, including the development of university library. Thanks for the support from the Japanese government through JICA, up to date, VJU library has more than 900 books in English, Japanese and Vietnamese.
Campus life
Located in Building C of the Vietnam Australia International School of My Dinh II Residential Area, Nam Tu Liem District, Hanoi. It is situated at a convenient location 2km from VNU, 1km from My Dinh bus station and 1km from the National Stadium. Covering a total area of 2,457m2, divided into three zones, there is a study zone on the 4th floor, education and scientific research and administration on the 5th and 6th floor.
