Education
The HKU Business School Masters Programmes extends over a minimum of one academic year and a maximum of two academic years for full-time study. Most students tend to finish the programme in one academic year.
Research
HKU Business School maintains an active research environment. Its economists conduct both basic and applied research and publish regularly in leading academics journals. In addition, research institutes and centres have been established to foster-scale and long-term collaborative research within and outside the School.
Career
- We endeavor to reach out to corporates and maintain close relationships with quality employers from all major industries. Some employers may invite us to nominate outstanding students for their consideration. We do our best to support shortlisted students during this process. However, employers reserve the rights of final decisions in the selection.
- All the career services/activities offered by HKU Business School are free of charge, however, some of the student services/activities require a participation fee.

- Full-time postgraduate students are eligible to apply for accommodation at a monthly rental charge for a single room in a number of designated halls. For details about housing for postgraduate students, please visit the website of the Centre of Development and Resources for Students (CEDARS).
Campus life
- The HKU Business School headquarters are located at K.K. Leung Building on the HKU Main Campus. In addition to facilities such as lecture theatres, classrooms, computer laboratories and other areas for academic activities, the campus is home to many research centres and institutes under the School.
- Located in Admiralty, the heart of the city, the Town Centre Campus brings the resources of HKU Business School to the hub of financial activities in Hong Kong.
- Most Masters Programmes classes are held on this campus. It is located near the seafront and at the flagship of Hong Kong's digital industry - Cyberport.
Student clubs
Student Clubs have been set up with the aim of equipping students to develop and present a successful business case through specialized programs. Students will learn to apply highly effective steps that cover the key functional areas of every business: operations, marketing, finance, and human resources. Students will be able to develop and practice their skills in the workplace. The Student Clubs also aim to promote activities and careers in related areas among the Masters’ community. Club officers (The Elite Club) will be offered a series of leadership training to equip them as future leaders.
