A full and detailed Programm
It explained all the aspects of social work and how to be a social worker, with 2 6-month practices. Although the teachers could be more interested about the students and not be so ignorant.
My experience in MBG at DUTh
One of the things I truly appreciated about the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics was the strong emphasis on research from early on in the program. The curriculum provided a solid foundation in molecular biology, genetics, and related disciplines, and the faculty members were knowledgeable and supportive, often encouraging students to participate in lab work and projects that prepared us for real-world scientific challenges. The department also fostered a close-knit academic community, which made collaboration and communication easier. However, there is definitely room for improvement. Some of the laboratory equipment and facilities could be updated to reflect current technological standards, which would enhance the practical training experience. Additionally, expanding course offerings in emerging fields could better align the curriculum with current trends in the life sciences. Overall, my experience was positive and intellectually stimulating. The program gave me the tools to think critically and work independently, and it prepared me well for future studies or a career in the field. While there are areas that could be modernized, the department remains a strong academic environment for anyone passionate about molecular biology and genetics.
Greek Universities
Compared to other Greek institutions Democritus University of Thrace was sufficiently clean and well preserved. However, the curriculum was outdated, teachers weren’t helpful and opportunities were not given.
