More than 150 years ago, this economic politician from Württemberg who promoted industrialization famously demanded, “You must rely on innovations and people.” Posthumously considered the father of industrial education in Württemberg, he founded trade schools throughout the state — including the weaving schools in Blaubeuren (1852)and Reutlingen (1855).

An opportunity for International Study Experience
The lecturers are very professional and give a hands-on practical explanation to topics. They also provide effective feedback on students' academic performance.
Very Interesting Program
I have just started my studies, so I have a long journey ahead, but I can share the experience of getting to my studies. Steinbeis Next was the perfect match for me providing an online program, so I can still work full-time and the exact study program that I was constantly looking for. The admission team was super responsive and very helpful throughout the process. What I really like is the hands-on approach and how topical the material of the study program is. So far the lectures are to the point for a person in the Tech industry and I really like that the professors are also from the industry as well. The online tool they are using, however, could be improved a little.

Hard to balance with other responsibilities
Since I started during Covid the program was shifted to online, which is the reason why I cannot really give any insights on the on-campus life. As I'm a double degree student with Post University in the US, also online classes, I kind of got used to the online program. For the Steinbeis University you need a full-time job that hires you as a Steinbeis student for a specific project you support over the two years of studying. Here one is able to gain great insights into the business however it is also super stressful and sometimes overwhelming. For this reason I would not recommend this program if other (personal) responsibilities may require extra time during the day as you hardly leave the desk.
