History
Founded in 1956, the Management Development Institute of Singapore (MDIS) is Singapore’s oldest not-for-profit professional institute for lifelong learning. MDIS has two main subsidiaries: Management Development Institute of Singapore Pte Ltd which oversees its Singapore academic operations, and MDIS International Pte Ltd which focuses on MDIS’ globalisation strategy.
Education
At MDIS Tashkent, classes are delivered by highly qualified faculty members from Uzbekistan and abroad, including specialists from Singapore, India, the Philippines, Lebanon, Turkey, Afghanistan, Yemen, and Mexico. Many lecturers are invited from the main MDIS campus in Singapore, ensuring all programmes meet global academic standards. Their international expertise and the multicultural environment provide students with in-depth knowledge and skills that are in high demand in the global job market.

Research
Research, Innovations and Consultancy Centre (RICC) conducts conferences and round tables, organizes scientific work with faculty and students, determines the prospects for the development of research activities of the Institute, and provides assistance and support in the research field to staff and students of the Institute. RICC is involved in publishing conference proceedings and digests.

My experience at this institute is very positive..
Tashkent institute of finance has a great deal to offer potential students. It is a strong school with a solid academic reputation. One of the things I found particularly helpful was having instructors who had real-world experience in the courses they were teaching. This meant that I was able to learn much more about the practical aspects of my chosen career field and get more in-depth information about what really worked and what was more textbook than true.
Very helpful and user-friendly platform
Studyportals is a very useful platform for finding study programs and universities abroad. The website is easy to use, information is well-structured, and I could easily compare different programs. It would be even better with more detailed scholarship information, but overall my experience was very positive.
It was more gripping attending at university
We educated by well-qualified teachers and we have been a laboratory for biology students to enrich the quality of our experience during theoretical and practical knowledges. These theories also played a crucial role to extend our hands on experience by themself. I hope I will continue my major for accepting knowledge and pursuing personal achievements.

Student services
The main goal of the Student Services Unit (SSU) is to ensure that students have pleasant and rewarding experience at MDIS Tashkent. The SSU is intended for students to receive prompt and efficient, administrative care, and it is the main point of contact for students who may send their feedback to the Institute, including problems, issues, queries, lecturers’ evaluation and compliments.
Housing services
MDIS Tashkent provides well-furnished 3-storey building Hostel facility within the campus and it can accommodate up to 140 students. MDIS Tashkent provides high quality accommodation for the students to make their stay at the Hostel a pleasant experience.
The Hostel management has imposed strict rules where students are required to observe the strict discipline. The 24/7 security services are available, and non-residents and students without ID cards are not allowed to enter the Hostel.
Library services
MDIS Tashkent Learning Resource Centre (LRC) among the leading libraries of International Universities in Tashkent. It has been collaborating with the libraries at Management Development Institute of Singapore, The National Library of the Republic of Uzbekistan. It is equipped in a new style with advanced technologies, and has contributed to the development of library services in the country.
ICT services
The learning process at MDIS Tashkent is supported by digital platforms including Blackboard, CANVAS, and Moodle, providing access to learning materials, performance monitoring, and faculty communication. Internal English language exams are conducted regularly in the IELTS format.
Medical services
The MDIS Tashkent Medical Centre offers emergency medical care services to all members of the Institute community which includes students, employees, visitors, or other organizations on campus.
For this purpose the Medical Center is equipped with all necessary facilities. If necessary, in cases of complicated injuries and acute illnesses, as well as infectious diseases, students are referred to a specialist.
Campus life
Located on more than 5.7 hectares and powered by solar photovoltaic systems, the MDIS Tashkent campus includes:
· Modern lecture halls and classrooms
· Computer and language labs
· Simulation facilities for tourism and hospitality
· A four-storey library with over 30,000 books
· A sports complex with an indoor swimming pool, tennis court, football field, volleyball and basketball halls
· A state-of-the-art gym
· Comfortable on-campus dormitories for regional and international students
· A medical centre and tourism training centre
· Student exchange programmes fostering international academic mobility
Sports facilities
The spirituality and enlightenment department supervises all work done at the institute in this area. It brings into accord the principles stated in standard documents, generalizes an operational experience of departments, public organization and chairs in the spirituality sphere; preparing and publishing required scientifically – methodical instructions and literatures, carrying out various actions directed toward promoting spiritual maturity of students.
The types of events organized include the following:
- Social (Teachers day, Comedy show, International Women’s day, Navruz)
- Intellectual (Zakovat club, Brain club, Workshop clubs)
- Sports (Football, Volleyball, Tennis, Chess cup)

In 2015, MDIS Tashkent became the first higher education institution in Uzbekistan to receive the ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management certification, confirming its commitment to excellence and continuous development.
