Why I chosed BSL
I have looked all around Switzerland for a business school offering more than just academics in my desire of ongoing and active learning. Through Business Innovation Week, guest speakers, student initiatives, and ongoing connections within the BSL network, BSL gives me the opportunity to put theory into reality right away. Being a member of this kind and sincere group of people is such an honor. My time at BSL has been really rich so far, and I can't wait to put what I've learned into practice and advance my career as a lifelong learner. The teachers are interesting and willing to engage in stimulating discussions and disagreements. Despite being somewhat small, the site is ideal for the number of students enrolled in the various programs. There is free parking available, and it is 10 minutes from Renens Train Station. The majority of the classes I've taken thus far have been really intriguing, with Micro/Macro Economy and Consumer Behavior being two of my favorites. Every class contains a wide variety of nations, allowing for a learning environment that is culturally varied.

Housing services
- As Lausanne is a popular place to study, it can be difficult to find a place to live. To avoid problems in finding accommodation, we strongly suggest you to start your research at least three months before the starting date of your program.
Campus life
- Lausanne is easily accessible by road, by rail (with links to major Swiss cities and the TGV from Paris and Milan), by air (situated 60 km from Geneva International Airport, just 45 minutes by car or by train) and even by boat on Lake Geneva.
- This opens up endless opportunities to explore Switzerland and the rest of Europe on weekend trips and during school breaks.
- BSL students benefit from the school’s close proximity to many international organizations and large corporations in the Geneva Lake region.
- Well known for its banking, commercial and tourism infrastructure, Switzerland ranks among the world’s 20 largest economies and hosts 15 Fortune 500 companies.
Sports facilities
- Switzerland’s mountains, valleys, lakes and glaciers offer students the chance to indulge in year-round outdoor activities.
- From water sports to cross-country skiing, not to mention a magnificent 18-hole golf course, there is something for any individual or team looking for extracurricular activities. Lausanne is the ideal setting for all types of sports.
Student clubs
- BSL’s student council is responsible for organizing events and cultural activities on and off campus throughout the year with the aim of bringing students together to build relationships and network.
- You can look forward to welcome parties for new students, our much-loved Culture days, BBQs and many other exciting social events. Our council is also dedicated to giving back to the community, thus numerous humanitarian projects are created by it and we encourage our full student body to get involved.
Accreditation
- Business School Lausanne became the first business school in Europe to have its programs accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) in 1996.
