Description
Application for the scholarships (VLIR-UOS scholarship and the Flanders Knowledge Area Master Mind scholarships) can be done directly via the online application form of Ghent University. There are IMaNema tuition fee waivers available and can be awarded to students who have shown strong motivation and good study results.
Benefits
VLIR-UOS scholarships cover tuition fees, travel, insurance and living expenses (board and lodging). They only offer scholarships for the full duration of the Master's programme (12/24 months). It is not possible to apply for a partial scholarship or an extension.
Eligibility
- Applicants can be no older than 35 years and need to be a national and resident of one of the scholarship countries at the time of application.

Apply for the scholarship via the online application form.
Deadline online application is 18 January; complete files for official admission 1 April. Selected candidates are shortlisted by the Nematology Educational Committee and informed by 1 March. The final selection is communicated by May.
Applications must be submitted directly to the Flemish universities (in Belgium) and not to any local intermediary body or person in partner countries.
