Overview
The Master’s Programme in Fine Art from UiB - Faculty of Fine Art, Music and Design (KMD) helps each student to define their own artistic project, which is developed through research and experimentation in dialogue with faculty members and fellow students.
Students have the opportunity to work within and across a broad range of media, techniques and materials, which can be combined to suit the topic and goals of the individual MA project. KMD's state-of-the-art workshops offer possibilities for working with painting, sculpture, printmaking, photography, audio, video, 3D printing, ceramics, textiles, and more, supported by technical expertise and guidance from staff.

General requirements
- The Master's Programme in Fine Art requires a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Art or other similar field of study, or other relevant degree equivalent to a minimum of 180 ECTS credits, but normally of 4 years duration.
