Overview
About this programme
The MA International History will take you on a journey through modern international history and offers the opportunity to develop interest and insight, whether you’re looking to develop your professional profile in a related field or an enthusiast wanting to explore the relationship between history and politics. This is set against dramatic developments in communications, science and technology, urbanisation and industrialisation. Learn more with this master of International History from Staffordshire University.
The course is taught and assessed entirely online, giving you the freedom to study anytime, anywhere.
You can also tailor the course to a topic that interests you, through one of our pathways. You can focus on Intelligence and Terrorism, with our Intelligence pathway; if learning more about mass violence and genocide interests you, then you can choose the Genocide Studies pathway; alternatively, if you would prefer a broader course of study, you can remain on the broader MA International History course and study topics such as Transnationalism and Global interdependence and an option module of your choosing.
If you complete a specific pathway route, your award title will reflect this.
On successful completion of study, we will issue the following award: MA International History
