Overview
This Electronics and Photonics programme at Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava will help:
- graduates are experts in the field of electronics and photonics, who have theoretical knowledge, insights and practical experience in key areas of electronics and photonics that are solved in global research, such as nanoelectronics, intelligent sensors, organic electronics, the Internet of Things (IoT) system, microsystems, electronic systems on a chip, electronic signal processing systems, wireless and portable electronic devices, as well as their use in various applications;
- graduates are prepared to design, analyze, diagnose and operate various electronic systems based on modern micro- and nano-electronic technologies

Graduates of the Electronics and Photonics study programme find employment as independent workers, members of a creative team or its leaders in various sectors of industry, in the education system, in research, both in the public and private sector, transport, healthcare, etc.
They can continue doctoral studies in the follow-up study programme Electronics and Photonics or in related programmes. The versatility of this engineering degree programme enables graduates to be employed in all countries of the European Union in industries related to electronics and electrical engineering, wherever a second-level university degree is required.

- Admission procedure to the engineering degree program is based on "Principles of admission to second level of study at FEI STU" adopted annually by Academic Senate of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology. General requirements include first-stage (bachelor) academic degree and an entrance interview.
- Finished Bachelor's degree programme with bachelor diploma.
