General requirements

Bachelor’s degree in the field of meteorology with a minimum grade of 3,0 (satisfactory) or an equivalent degree from a higher education institution in Germany or abroad.
The applicant is expected to have sufficient active and passive knowledge of English to read specialist literature and to participate in courses taught in English; this does not necessarily include written examinations in the English language, if not regulated differently in the examination regulations.
An additional requirement for admission to the Master's program Meteorology is that the applicant is still eligible to take exams in this program of study. A declaration stating the eligibility to take exams has to be submitted.
German proficiency is not required for the Master's program Meteorology.
Required language certificate: English Level B-2
