Overview

The Programme involves preparing specialists in the field of economics of environmental challenges and sustainable development. It aims at preparing globally competitive professionals who understand deeply the relationship between economic development and environment at the level of states and businesses. The activities of graduates will further contribute to the sustainable development of the global economy, its individual countries, industries, and companies (с сайта).The program offers the development of competencies that will allow graduates to go on to a successful career in the corporate sector, public service or as an employee of an international organization, research centers and think-tanks.The Programme is of an applied nature; it involves 2 educational tracks.Track “Economics of Global Environmental Challenges” (analysis of the role of environmental challenges in the development of the global economy, transformation of industries, as well as implementation of international and national sustainable development strategies)Track “ESG in corporate business” (analysis of the role of environmental challenges in the business development, risk management policy, implementation of corporate and investment strategies).In addition to compulsory, introductory and special (depending on the chosen education track) courses, each educational track will offer participation in research seminars and project work that combine acquiring expert and analytical skills with handling various practical tools under the leadership of Program’s partners from the corporate sector.
