My Academic Journey Across Borders
Studying at this institution and in this country has been a truly life-changing experience. Despite the country’s complex international standing, the academic environment has been both rigorous and enriching. This journey has significantly strengthened my skills in data analytics, business intelligence, and the practical use of artificial intelligence for management and marketing. Beyond technical knowledge, the experience has enhanced my analytical thinking, adaptability, and ability to work across diverse academic and cultural contexts. Overall, it has played a crucial role in shaping my academic growth and professional outlook in a globalized learning environment.
An Excellent Foundation for My Career
My experience so far has been both intellectually stimulating and eye-opening. The program is strongly mathematics-oriented, which I truly enjoy; it keeps me engaged and mentally active. The coursework challenges me to think critically and apply advanced concepts, which aligns well with my academic interests and goals. However, one area that could be improved is access to internships and practical training opportunities, especially for international students. Most of these opportunities seem to be directed toward local citizens, which can make it difficult for international students to gain the same level of field experience and exposure. Overall, while the academic side has been fulfilling and well-structured, more inclusive career and internship support would significantly enhance the experience for non-local students.
Not What Was Promised
I have mixed feelings about my experience at this university. When I enrolled, we were told we would receive a London degree, but it later turned out to be only a certificate, and we were registered as Visiting Students. This was not clearly communicated. The program also lacked lectures and structured teaching — we were mainly given reading lists for self-study and then examined. I found some subjects repetitive and overly focused on management. That said, there are strong positives. I truly appreciate the university’s community, networking opportunities, and the friendliness of the professors. My negative experiences with faculty were minimal. The university is very well organized and, in many ways, follows European academic standards. For fields such as economics, statistics, and mathematics, it can be one of the strongest choices.
