The aim of the study programme in Software Engineering of Multimedia and Information Retrieval Systems from National Technical University of Ukraine: Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute is to train specialists in the field of software engineering software engineering, in particular software engineering of multimedia and information retrieval systems capable of solving complex scientific, technical, innovation-oriented tasks and problems of software engineering of multimedia and information retrieval systems capable of formulating production systems capable of formulating production and scientific tasks for the development, maintenance and quality assurance of software, find rational and optimal methods and means of solving them, solve complex specialised tasks and practical scientific problems in software engineering.
