My Journey at NED
My time at NED University provided a strong technical foundation in electrical engineering, with a curriculum that balanced theory and practical application. The faculty was knowledgeable and supportive, particularly in guiding final-year projects and research initiatives. I especially appreciated opportunities to work on real-world challenges, such as designing a walking algorithm for a surveillance robot, which helped bridge classroom learning with industry needs. However, I believe there is room to improve industry-academia collaboration, particularly through more internships, guest lectures, and hands-on lab exposure to modern tools like PLCs and energy management systems. Overall, NED prepared me well for my professional career at K-Electric one of the energy sector in Pakistan, where I now work on power plant performance and energy efficiency.
An Experience to Remember
Getting through graduate study as been completely life changing. I have developed my knowledge in sustainable energy. I have also gotten the necessary skills to thrive in this field.
