Founded in 2004 in Paris, SupBiotech is part of the IONIS Education Group, France’s leading private higher education group. It has quickly become a reference in biotechnology education, combining academic excellence with strong industry connections.

SupBiotech offers a 5-year engineering programme fully dedicated to biotechnology and taught in English. Its multidisciplinary curriculum blends life sciences, engineering, business, and humanities to prepare students for leadership roles in a global context. The Master of Science in Biotechnology and Artificial Intelligence is an advanced 2-year programme designed to train future experts at the intersection of bioinformatics and AI. Graduates use AI to address biotech challenges in health, agriculture, environment & pharma.

At SupBiotech, research is centered on applied biotechnology in health, environment, and industry. Students benefit from hands-on experience through cutting-edge laboratories, international collaborations, and partnerships with companies. Four dedicated labs cover areas from neurodegenerative disease and bioinformatics to food innovation and the societal impact of biotechnology.
