My time at HU was a transformative experience. The dedicated faculty, state-of-the-art facilities, and vibrant campus community fostered a supportive and inspiring learning environment. I'm grateful for the opportunities to explore my passions and develop the skills I needed to succeed.
A Rewarding Journey in Mechatronics Engineering
My experience studying Mechatronics Engineering at Hashemite University has been both challenging and fulfilling. The program’s interdisciplinary nature, combining mechanical, electrical, and software engineering, has given me a solid foundation in designing and working with smart, automated systems. Courses such as control systems, robotics, and embedded systems were rigorous, but they significantly enhanced my technical knowledge. The hands-on labs and group projects were key highlights of my learning, allowing me to apply theoretical concepts to real-world applications. These projects not only strengthened my technical skills but also taught me the importance of teamwork and communication in solving complex engineering problems. The faculty members are experienced and approachable, offering valuable insights and guidance. However, I believe some course materials could benefit from updates to better align with industry advancements. While some resources and equipment felt slightly outdated, the university is continuously improving its facilities to enhance the learning environment. Overall, the Mechatronics Engineering program at Hashemite University has thoroughly prepared me for the dynamic field of automation and intelligent systems, providing me with both the technical and problem-solving skills needed for a successful engineering career.
Once you can manage the workload, its enjoyable
My overall experiance was nice, if you are a psychology student it will be a little bit challenging. Despite that most of the professors are really nice and tend to help the students. Other than that the dorms are not great but they are tolerable, if you are accepted into Talia dorms you are considered lucky, on the other had federman is not for everyone you will have 6 roommates 2 students in one room. Therefore, if you like to have privacy I would recommend you to look for somewhere else to live.
