In fact, you can start your MBA classes the summer before you begin dental school, and we'll offer remaining courses at key times throughout your four years in the program.

These MBA courses will include Accounting and Finance for Managers, Strategic Cost Analysis and Decision Making, and Marketing Strategy. As part of your dental education, you'll participate in clinical activities, perform dental procedures, and complete a curriculum that includes basic science and dental science courses. This intense schedule is precisely the reason we've made the dual degree so flexible.

These high-achieving healthcare leaders are encouraged to apply for the D.M.D./M.B.A. degree program at UAB. UAB's dual degree in Business Administration - Dentistry provides additional business coursework and experiential opportunities for students who plan to pursue careers with both clinical and administrative responsibilities, perhaps opening their own practices.
