Overview

The Commerce (Extension) program at the University of Sydney is for students with no prior business experience who are looking to make a career change, or who wish to undertake a longer program which allows completion of:

two future-focused specialisations,
participation in a global exchange program,
or a research dissertation.

Career paths

Graduates of the Master of Commerce (Extension) program will gain the skills and knowledge necessary to pursue advanced positions in a variety of sectors, including private, public, and non-profit organisations.

an Australian bachelor's degree or higher with a credit average (65 percent) or equivalent qualification, or
an Australian bachelor's degree or higher (minimum 50 percent average) or equivalent qualification, and satisfactory performance in the GMAT (for guidance, the class average score is 630) or GMAT Focus Edition (for guidance, the class average score is 585), or
the University of Sydney Graduate Diploma or Graduate Certificate in Commerce with a credit average (65 percent).
If English is not your first language, you may be able to prove English proficiency with an approved English skills test taken within 2 years of commencing the course.
