Overview

The Creative Writing - Translation MFA course from Fairleigh Dickinson University students may choose Literary Translation as a second concentration if they choose the three-year MFA option. Students concentrating in other genres have the option to choose Literary Translation for their one elective module.

In addition to working individually with acclaimed and award-winning faculty members, students have the opportunity to work with the editors of The Literary Review, the international literary magazine with a long history of publishing translations.

The Creative Writing - Translation programme from Fairleigh Dickinson University is a low-residency program in which students work closely with published authors who serve as their mentors and teachers. The program is arranged into 8-week online modules and 10-day on-campus residencies, in the summer session at FDU’s Madison, New Jersey campus and in the winter session at FDU’s Wroxton, England campus.
