The M.E. in Computer Education and Technology (Online) offered by Ohio University serves educators who hold a professional teaching license in another field and wish to complete a master's of technology and/or seek a multi-age endorsement in Computer Technology. The program prepares technology facilitators to use technology more effectively in their teaching and to become technology leaders in their school or district. The program is Nationally Recognized by the International Society for Technology in Education

Additionally, the Master's Degree Program in Computer Education and Technology at Ohio University also serves those wishing to pursue advanced preparation in Computer Technology to be used in K-12, community college, business or higher education. Individuals with technical and training backgrounds not holding teaching licenses who wish to pursue work in instructional design, web design business and/or community college are also supported by the Master's in Computer Education and Technology.

Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent: Admission requires an earned bachelor's degree from a U.S. college or university accredited by a regional accrediting association, or an international degree that is equivalent to a U.S. bachelor's degree from a college or university recognized and approved by the Ministry of Education or Commission responsible for higher education in the country where the degree is earned.
Official transcripts: Applicants are required to submit one official transcript from each post-secondary institution attended, regardless of whether or not a degree was earned or the credits are reflected on a separate transcript as transfer credit.
Letters of recommendation. Applicants must submit three letters of recommendation.
Statement of Purpose: Applicants must submit a two-page statement of purpose.
Resume or Curriculum Vita: This should also be treated as one of the most important items in your application package.
