Within this Anthropology BA degree from the Portland State University, students have the option of choosing from three tracks: a thesis track, an internship track, or a skills track.

General requirements
- Complete a four-year baccalaureate degree program with a minimum undergraduate GPA of 2.75 or the equivalent (on the U.S. 4.0 scale) from the degree granting institution(s).
- Minimum GPA of 3.25 in anthropology courses and an overall GPA of 3.00; in the case of extenuating circumstances, exceptions may be considered, subject to the above university admissions requirements
- 500-word "Statement of Intent"
- Writing Sample: Your writing sample should illustrate your academic skills and interests, and ability to craft a sustained argument supported by scholarly data.
- GRE (optional)
- Copies of transcripts from each college or university attended (other than Portland State)
- References: Submit contact information for at least three references. Portland State will contact your references and provide them with instructions for submitting recommendation forms.
