Overview
Under the guidance of clinicians who are state approved and American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT) approved supervisors, our students are trained to assess, diagnose, consult, and treat relationships and individuals.
Throughout the Couples and Family Therapy (MACFT) program, from Seattle University, students engage in self-reflection, or person-of-the-therapist exploration, to better understand themselves as a provider. Graduates heal and empower clients from diverse intersecting social locations (e.g., ethnicities, gender identities, faith traditions).
Mission
The MACFT program prepares systemic therapists to promote healing, growth, and relational connectedness.
