A goal of the Computer Science curriculum at the University of New Orleans is to align educational outcomes with industry and research needs and expectations.

Learning Outcomes

Students will acquire an advanced understanding of concepts in multiple computer science subfields
Students will be able to apply the acquired theory and methodology to solve related and relevant real-world practical problems.
Students will be able to craft and effectively present, both in written and oral format, information and concepts in multiple advanced computer science subfields.
Students following the thesis track will be able to explain theoretical as well as practical concepts in technical writing to demonstrate understanding of advanced concepts related to their research and area of specialization.
