Learning outcomes

Graduate School requirement for students admitted for the M.S. degree at Yale University is an overall grade average of High Pass, including a grade of Honors in at least one full-term graduate course. There is no thesis option for the BME Master’s program and the Master’s program is a terminal one-year program.

However, international students are generally eligible for an extension of up to one year (two terms) as a “Special Student”, after completion of the Master’s degree. In this case, students are charged full tuition.
