At the end of the first semester, students, in collaboration with their advisors, select a concentration—an area of specialized expertise that distinguishes them in the industry.

A summer internship between the first and second year typically aligns with your chosen area of concentration, and gives you a distinct edge in a finding leadership positions in the industry upon graduation.

The Real Estate programme at Cornell University curriculum offers a unique and powerful approach: an in-depth exploration of the variety of perspectives and disciplines that are integral to the industry, supplemented by real estate courses with an individualized focus that appeals to each student.

Career opportunities

Graduate students from any discipline at Cornell are invited to enroll in the Graduate Minor in Real Estate. The minor gives graduate students across the university the opportunity to take advantage of the wide variety of real estate courses offered by the Cornell Baker Program in Real Estate.

Upon successful completion of the required classes, the Graduate Minor in Real Estate designation will appear on students’ official Cornell transcript.
