Course Details

The Homeland Security MA course at American Public University will also build your leadership skills and knowledge of national security and defense. This homeland security master’s online program also addresses weapons of mass destruction, terrorism, intelligence, consequence management, and interagency government-related issues.

As an MA in Homeland Security student, you will join an online community of homeland security professionals and volunteers who protect their community when disaster strikes. You will learn from faculty who bring real-world expertise from government agencies, the military, and defense communities.

Describe the roles/missions of USNORTHCOM and the Defense Security Cooperation Agency, and compare and contrast these with the Department of Homeland Security

All APU master's degree and graduate certificate programs require a bachelor’s degree (or higher) from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA).
