This is a non-thesis Biomedical Technology Commercialization degree program at the The University of Texas at San Antonio and the M.S. degree will be awarded to candidates who have satisfactorily completed all degree requirements for the program.
The Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Biomedical Technology Commercialization (BTC) will consist of at least 30 semester credit hours beyond the bachelor’s degree. Undergraduate courses, general education courses, and prerequisites for graduate courses cannot be counted toward this total.

Degrees with an emphasis in either engineering, sciences, and business administration.
Applicants must have a grade point average of 3.0 or better in the last 60 semester credit hours of coursework with a major in a recognized science, engineering or business discipline. Students with borderline grade point average (that is between 2.9 and 3.0) will be required to satisfactorily complete selected courses as a condition of acceptance.
A completed a Graduate School application.
Official transcripts from all institutions attended. All international transcripts must be recorded in English or officially translated to English.
Minimum one letter of recommendation attesting to the applicant’s readiness for graduate study.
