The Master of Science in Data Science and Engineering offers two pathways: a thesis option and a coursework-only option, both requiring the completion of 30 credits. The curriculum includes:

DSE 510: Practicum in Data Science and Engineering (3 credits)
SIE 501: Introduction to Graduate Research (1 credit)
SIE 502: Research Methods (1 credit)
INT 601: Responsible Conduct of Research (1 credit)

Students must also complete foundation courses and select additional credits from theme areas or domain specialisations to fulfil the credit requirement. The programme encourages practical experience through options like a Graduate Project or an Information Systems Internship.
