Overview
Here at Seattle University's Student Development Administration program, we offer a modern practitioner-based curriculum that provides strong theory-to-application training within a supportive community of students, alumni, and seasoned professionals who will become your colleagues for life.
Change Agents in the Campus Community
More than ever, reflective and social-justice minded professionals are needed in post-secondary institutions and other educational environments throughout the United States and globally. With our high placement rate, graduates of our program go on to jobs such as academic advisor, student activities advisor, international student advisor and community engagement program manager. These leaders represent, advocate for and work with students, develop leadership programs and implement activities that enhance college students’ academic experience.
Nationally Recognized and Locally Connected
Our program is sought out for its strong clinical experiences and its infusion of diversity and social justice into our curriculum. Through our holistic mentorship approach, our nationally-recognized and dedicated faculty will work with you to gain the experience and skills necessary to serve students in a variety of educational environments, including community colleges, 4-year colleges, college access organizations and high-tech companies (university recruiting and leadership development).
