Overview

The Exercise Science programme from the Long Island University (LIU) was developed to combine exercise physiology with three popular areas of study: sports nutrition, athletic performance and inclusive fitness.

The programme also offers academic flexibility with a wide range of elective courses. Within the programme, students have the opportunity to prepare for Nationally recognized professional certifications from the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), and the National Strength & Conditioning Association (NSCA). Additionally, an active research laboratory allows students a fully immersive learning environment.
