The Teaching at Gonzaga University is intended for individuals who earned a bachelor’s degree in a field, other than education, the opportunity to pursue teaching. Students graduate with a master’s degree in education gaining them the skills to earn the credentials needed to begin a successful career as a K-12 educator.
A Gonzaga educated teacher is expertly trained to meet students where they are, providing them the skills to truly become a life-long learner.
- Program Length: Provides flexibility with the option to complete in either one or two years.
- Cohort Model: Students work together to build support and collaborative relationships with their peers immediately and throughout the program.
- In-Classroom Experience: Develop in-classroom skills through student teaching and supervised field experiences in local schools from the beginning of the program.
- Program Location: The Rosauer Center for Education located on-campus at Gonzaga University in Spokane, WA.
