General requirements

A baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited college or university**.

A minimum GPA of 3.00 for full admission, 2.75 for conditional admission. All GPA calculations for admission are based upon the last 60 units of undergraduate and post-baccalaureate study.

Teaching experience is preferred, but not required.

A current resume.

A detailed statement of intent of two to three, double-spaced pages demonstrating the applicant’s readiness for graduate level work and describing the following: background in arts and/or education and professional goals in seeking the degree.

Samples of creative, teaching, or performance work

Prerequisite: Completion of a minimum of 20 hours of Introduction to Laban Movement Analysis by approval of program director.
