Overview
University of Nebraska Medical Center's Social Work and Public Health program offers interdisciplinary preparation in the fields of social work and public health leading to the master of social work and the master of public health degrees, generally in less time than it would take to obtain these degrees independently.
Key Features
- Students in this program can concentrate their education in public health administration. The MSW/MPH dual degree increases the student's career options in the future by providing the individual with two sets of skills that are highly complementary: clinical social work skills, and population-focused public health program skills.
- Concentration area: Public Health Administration and Policy.
Programme Structure
MPH/MSW dual degree students typically:
- complete MSW and MPH courses concurrently, based on a plan of study decided upon by faculty advisors from both programs.
