The ECE Department of University of Alabama Huntsville offers a full range of accredited degree programs in Electrical and Computer Engineering

These programs are designed to not simply train students to be users of current technology but to educate them so they actually understand how this technology works. This allows them to be innovators throughout their lives and become active contributors to the ever-changing technological landscape.

Mission

The mission of the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department is to develop and maintain high quality undergraduate and graduate programs in electrical and computer engineering to meet the needs of its constituents, and to participate in scholarly and productive research that contributes to the economic well being and quality of life for the residents of Huntsville, the State of Alabama, and the citizens of the United States of America.
