Ministry (Online) is offered by Indiana Wesleyan University. This highly practical program is designed to challenge you to tune-up your ministry skills and learn effective new ways to serve God and others in just two years.

Key Facts

A professor with real ministry experience will guide you in applying your weekly homework assignments to your local ministry context. Throughout the program you will be engaged in a spiritual formation cohort. This model not only helps motivate you to keep going; it creates a spiritual and relational bond with fellow pilgrims on the journey with whom you can rejoice, struggle, and to whom you can be accountable. With 21 credits of core courses and 15 credits of elective courses, you are able to craft your perfect degree. Students may choose to take four electives in a given field and receive a specialization in one of 6 different areas. The entire program can be completed online. While Wesley Seminary offers one-week residential courses, they are not a requirement to complete the degree.

Official Transcripts: Submit official transcripts from all universities and/or colleges attended. Official transcripts from all post-high school educational experiences are to be included.
References: Submit three references. At least one of the references must be from a medical practitioner and another from a previous faculty member who can speak to your capacity to do graduate level work.
Writing Sample: In a double-spaced typed essay of 500 to 750 words, explain your interest in the program, what you hope to achieve by completing the program, and how your personal or professional background relates to your interests or goals.
Curriculum Vitae: Other aspects of an applicant's record, such as educational achievement, professional experience and clarity of career goals should be reflected in a curriculum vitae.
