Investigate Life at the Nanoscale

By earning an MS in Nanobioscience from University at Albany, you’ll not only learn the fundamentals of biological processes using nanoscale phenomena and technologies, you’ll also acquire the intellectual fluency and technical ability to succeed in a dynamic, interdisciplinary career in research, development, therapeutics, diagnostics, pharmaceuticals or academia.

Through a comprehensive portfolio of courses, you’ll absorb fundamental knowledge in the design and manipulation of nanomaterials and nanofabricated systems towards biological applications, including metals, semiconductors, polymers, chemical and biological materials. This includes the integration, processing, testing and qualification of these materials in integrated micro- and nanosystems, sensors and integrated optics.
