Course Details
With this Environmental Planning and Design program at American Public University, you’ll deepen your knowledge of planning tools such as Geographic Information Systems (GIS), environmental impact analyses, hazard mitigation, spatial analysis, and sustainable design principles. In addition, you’ll study the complex correlations among humans, natural resource usage, and the resulting impact on the environment. You’ll also participate in practical projects using real-world tools.

- All APU master's degree/graduate certificate programs require a bachelor’s degree (or higher) from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA®).
- Depending on your country of citizenship, you may be required to provide documentation of English proficiency
- For degree programs, if you have earned college credits at a CHEA accredited institution or from a member university of Universities Canada , you will be required to submit our transfer credit evaluation (TCE) application when you apply.
- If you have non-US transcripts, and you need to submit them for admission or for transfer credit, you will need to have them evaluated for U.S. equivalency by a university-approved agency.
