Programme Structure

Course Overview:

The Graduate School at The Ohio State University specifies that at least 30 graduate credit hours are required for a Master's Degree as well as a sufficient Thesis or Non-Thesis project.

Courses counted toward the coursework requirements must be letter graded (A-E). Any courses taken Spring 2018 and beyond students must earn a grade of C or better in order for courses to count toward the coursework requirements.

In order to count toward your degree courses, taken outside of Engineering, Natural and Mathematical Sciences, or Medicine must be approved by your advisor and the Graduate Studies Committee via a MAE program petition.

The equivalent of a four-year bachelor's or advanced degree from an accredited college or university, earned by the expected date of entry into your graduate program.
A minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA (on a 4.0 scale or equivalent) for the last bachelor's or advanced degree earned.
Transcripts or other credentials documenting that you have completed prerequisite academic work.
Students interested in applying for the aerospace engineering graduate program should have a degree in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, engineering physics, physics, or a related field.
