The Kinesiology - Sport, Exercise and Performance Psychology programme at California State University Long Beach consists of 36 units. General requirements

A bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution with a major in Kinesiology/Physical Education or the equivalent;

An overall undergraduate GPA of 2.5 or better and an upper division Kinesiology/Physical Education major GPA of 2.75 or better;

A minimum cumulative score of 150 on the verbal, 141 on the quantitative and 3.5 on the analytical writing sections of the Graduate Record Examination.

Submit official transcripts to Enrollment Services (DO NOT send transcripts to the Kinesiology department). Currently enrolled CSULB undergraduate students do not need to submit transcripts.

Upload statement of purpose, diversity statement, and resume/CV directly to Cal State Apply (we do not require GRE).

Submit names and email addresses of 3 people who will write recommendation letters for you via Cal State Apply.
