The 48-credit dual degree is offered jointly by between the UNLV College of Business and the William F. Harrah College of Hotel Administration.

The Hotel Administration - Management Information Systems programme offered by University of Nevada, Las Vegas , provides students with the needed skills, knowledge, and tools to become visionary leaders in the application of advanced information technology practices to the hospitality industry.

The 24-credit core MIS programme is designed to advance the student’s knowledge and practice of information technology. The 24-credit M.S. in Hotel Administration provides the student with a concentration in the hospitality field. The dual MIS/MS-HOA programme also takes advantage of the natural learning environment found in Las Vegas — the gaming and entertainment capital of the world.

Graduates of the programme will receive dual degrees: an MS/MIS from the College of Business and a M.S. in Hotel Administration. Students should expect that the dual MIS/HOA degree programme will take approximately three years (six semesters) to complete.

All domestic and international applicants must review and follow the Graduate College Admission and Registration Requirements. The admission requirements for the dual degree are the same as those stated under the MS MIS and MS HOA programs. Dual MS MIS applicants may take the GRE or the GMAT. All dual degree program applicants are required to show that they have at least one year of full-time management/supervisory experience or three years of cumulative full-time front-line experience in the hospitality industry.
