Curriculum and Instruction - Reading and Literacy from Texas A&M University is designed to be research-intensive and good preparation for the research-focused PhD degree.

The online program offering of the Reading Specialist certification includes both asynchronous and synchronous online classes for students. six courses are offered synchronously, which means the classes occur on set schedules and time frames in conjunction with the face to face section of the course. Students enrolled in those classes will join the face to face class via video conference.
